He was predeceased by: his parent Thanh Thi Bui. He is survived by: his children, Hieu (Mien), Thuy (Dat), Ngoc, Nguyet (Hung), Thanh (Sang), Nhung (Thien) and Yen (Joshua). He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
