He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cote and Diane Cote (Roy); his brother David Cote; and his aunt Claudette Roy. He is survived by: his brother Richard "Dickie" Cote; his uncle Noah Cote; his aunts, Lorraine Maguire and Rita Gillitzer (Dennis); and his friend Pam Russell.
