She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius VanUden and Rebecca VanUden (McNeilage); her husband George J. Ahern; and her brothers, John and Robert VanUden.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa J. Wayne of Greer, SC, Karen R. Simpson of Allenstown and Kathy J. Ahern (Shawn Fanny) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Matthew J. Wayne (Rachel Wireman) of Fairfax, VA, Nicholas A. Ahern (Ashley Downing) of Manchester, Kyra R. Peno of Manchester and Joshua A. Wayne (Patricia Yasdick) of Greer, SC; her great grandchildren, Aria Newton, Noah Ahern, Isabella Wayne and Hudson Wayne; and her sister-in-law Carol VanUden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
