He was predeceased by: his parents, George Olivar and Lillian Olivar (Mahoney) of Boston, MA.; and his brothers, Sonny Olivar and Robert Olivar. He is survived by: his wife Dana (Dunbar); his children, Garret Olivar (Jenna Gosselin) of Chicago, IL, Derick Olivar (Carolyn) of Lynn, MA, Darlene Olivar of Tewksbury, MA, Tina Olivar of Salem, NH and Jason Olivar (Kathryn) of Everett, MA; his grandchildren, Derick Olivar, Keegan Olivar and Mckenna Olivar; and his sisters, Janice Dunn and Gloria Lendhart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
