He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Mitchell (Callison) and James B Mitchell; and his brother James Rodney Mitchell (Rod). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ferree; his sons, Patrick Mitchell and Samuel Mitchell; his niece Patricia; and his nephews, Scott and Sean.
