“Friends and family, I just learned of Wally's passing and I just wanted to let you know his positive impact in our little town of Nazlini on the Navajo Nation. Not only was he a reacher but a humanitarian. Many residents of Nazlini did not have running water and Wally would allow us to haul water from his apartment. He also worked part time at the local trading post. He would always buy my brothers and I a treat whenever we went to the store. May he rest in God's arm after a long life of giving”
