He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Solano and Leonora Solano (DiPetro); and his stepson Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Anne M. Solano (Mayo); his siblings, Paul, Joseph, Kenneth, Patricia and Priscilla; and his stepchildren, Debra, Edward, Karen and Linda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
