He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Herrington II and Pluma Ellen Herrington; and his brother Alan. He is survived by: his wife Joan Grabnar of Kirtland, Ohio.; his children, Lauren, Lance, Brooks, Ian, Shelby and Sydney; and his brothers, Stuart and Dale. He is also survived by his wife and children.
