Ernest left this world on September 11, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest D. Cote and Laurette Cote (Fontaine); and his sister Elaine Fortin. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Cote (McMahon); his children, Karen Cote, Linda (Kevin Vesey), Brian Cote (Lisa) and Sandra (Chuck Krueger); his grandchildren, Garrett, Taylor, Brandon, Hannah and Bryce; and his siblings, Roger Cote, Irene Klink and Anne Mafera. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (16 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054). The military honors was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nh Veteran's Cemetery (110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ernie's memory can be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, New England Chapter.
