He was predeceased by: his parents, Yvonne Carter and Charles Carter; and his siblings, Paul "Buddy" Carter, Carlton Carter, Lorraine Hall, Madeline Fuller and Virginia Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Carter (Stinson); his children, Susan Laflamme, Alan Carter and Patricia Coryea (Tom); his grandchildren, Erik Laflamme (Joanna), Ryan Laflamme (Tania), Chase Carter and Jamie Sue Hutchins (Jamie); and his great grandchildren, Lando and Lewis Hutchins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
