She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hughes and Mary Eggleston (Estabrook); her husband John Edward Hilliard Sr.; her brother William Hughes; and her grandson Hunter Burke.
She is survived by: her children, John Hilliard Jr. (Wendy), Robin Naro (Thomas), Shawn Hilliard, Russell Hilliard (Kathy), April Haggerty (John) and Robert Hilliard (Brittany); and her siblings, Robert Hughes and Barbara MacFarland. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
