It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth D. McGettigan of Milford, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McGettigan and Dorothy McGettigan (Sheldon); his wife Margaret M. McGettigan (Bolton); and his brothers, Donald and Charles McGettigan.
He is survived by: his children, Karen, Rick Ricciardi of Manchester, NH, Ken, Bobi McGettigan of Laconia, NH, Kevin, Jacqui McGettigan of Belmont, NH, Karlene and Tom Lowkes of East Brookfield, MA; his great grandchildren, Patrick, Elliott, Kit, Kelsey, Dan, Tony, Andrew, Emily, Erin and Keri; his siblings, Robert McGettigan, James McGettigan, Dorothy Callaghan, Maggie, Len McAuliffe, Helen Koehler and Ellie McGettigan; and his sister-in-law Diane Bolton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home (63 Elm St, Milford, NH 03055). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Church (190 Meetinghouse Rd, Bedford, NH 03110). A burial was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (448 Donald St, Bedford, NH 03110).
