She was predeceased by : her husband John Harry; her sister Jacqueline Chea; and her granddaughter Wendy Brown. She is survived by : her children, Eric Berntson (Kathy) of Blue Point, NY, Donna Brown (Archie "Chipper") of Milford, NH, John Kurt Berntson (Brenda) of Hampton Bays, NY. and Kristoffer Berntson (Edie); her grandchild Aleksander; her daughters, Lauren Berntson (Megan), Alyssa McLoughlin (Kevin) and Clara; and her stepsons, Sawyer and Colby. She is also survived by several grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (64 S Country Rd, Bellport, NY 11713).
