He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeleine McGovern (Ballard) and James Patrick McGovern; and his sister Jeanne of Corpus Christi, TX.. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Sollecito-McGovern; his daughters, Kira and Victoria McGovern; his stepdaughters, Mary and Julia Fries; his grandchildren, Chloe and Leo; and his brother James of Springfield, MA.
