McCarthy; his sister-in-law Donna Ripley; his wife Cathy McCarthy (McMahon) of Milford; his daughter Katelin; his son-in-law Matt Nelson of Derry, NH; his son Ryan McCarthy (Meaghan Cyr); his grandchild Keegan of Rochester, NH; his sister Sharon Smidt; and his siblings-in-law, Cynthia McCarthy, Irina McMahon, Patty Avron, Anne McMahon, Bobby McMahon and Jim Ripley. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
