She was predeceased by: her husband James J.; her parents, Martin McCarthy and Mary McCarthy (Kennedy); and her siblings, Julia Lorenz, John McCarthy, Mary Hogan, Joseph McCarthy, Pauline Ryan and Francis McCarthy.
She is survived by: her son James J.; and her grandchildren, Courtney Ceurvels (Tim), James (Lauren), Sean (Carson), Jack, Kerry Keeler (Brad), Brian (Kayla), Andrew (Lexie), Kevin Morrissey (Kelly) and Colleen Sargent (Matthew).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home (326 Granite Ave, Milton, MA 02186). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (386 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02171).
