He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Pope and Veronica Pope; his wife Ann Marie Pope (Sweeney); his children, Susan Fukuda (Shinji), Matthew Pope (Laura), Michael Pope (Denise), David Pope, Sarah Sullivan (Daniel), Patrick Pope (Amanda), Maria Camacho (George) and Joshua Pope (Jennifer); and his sister Nancy Ross (Larry).

He is survived by: his siblings, Chris Pope (Norma Shaw), Harold "Buddy" Pope (Marcy) and Lucy Pope (Mark Worgaftik); his sister-in-law Virginia Giles (Wayne); and his grandchildren, Kei Fukuda, Natalia, Elayna Pope, Reid, Alli, Seth Pope, Caitlin, Danny Sullivan, Harrison, Alexander, Bennett Pope, Ryan, Sean, Kevin Camacho, Connor, Maddie and Nick Pope.
