She was predeceased by: her husband Robert McCarthy; her parents, Juan Orihuel (John) and Thommasa Dake (Grillo); her son Gerald T. McCarthy; and her sister Mary Ann Leon (Earl).
She is survived by: her children, Kim Fitzpatrick (Sean Fitzpatrick) of Nashua, NH and Robert "Mike" McCarthy (Joann) of Charlottesville, VA; her grandchildren, Samuel Sutcliffe, Andy Sutcliffe (Olivia) and Chris Slater; her great grandchildren, Cyrus, Eli and Jonah; and her sister Lucy Orihuel of Vero Beach, FL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
