She was predeceased by: her husband Justin L. Ball; and her parents, Alden S. Brunell and Alice M. Emery. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Mercier of Rindge, Melissa Fernald of West Peterborough and Michael Christian of New Ipswich; her granddaughter Anna Fernald; her stepchildren, Cyndi Santos, David Ball and Beau Carrington; her granddaughter Caitlin Ball; and her brother Theodore Brunell. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara always wished for any donations to be made to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 W Swanzey Road, Swanzey, NH 03446.
