He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Thomas (Chartrand) and Joseph Thomas. He is survived by: his brother Peter Thomas; and his sibling's children, Catheryn Moonsong of Saginaw, MI and James Thomas of Monrovia, CA. He is also survived by his two daughters and a son.

Donations may be made in his name to the National Kidney Foundation.
