He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl J. Hayward, and Eleanor L. Hayward, Jr. (Goings); and his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Betty" Hayward (Adams); his daughters, Heidi Godwin (Caleb) of Newport, NH and Heather Smith (Dana) of Sunapee, NH; his grandchildren, LCpl Colton Godwin, Jayden Godwin, Brynn Smith and Dylan Smith; and his brother Michael Hayward (Alison) of Calais, ME. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
