Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret R. Skillen (Playfoot) and Robert M. Skillen. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie K. Berry; his children, Charles Berry-Skillen and Laura Currin; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Max and AJ Currin. He is also survived by friends and family members including numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chadwick Funeral Home (235 Main St, New London, NH 03257).
This sadly coincided with the acceleration of his Alzheimer's disease which led to a withdrawal into himself that robbed him of the ability to be as present in our lives in recent years as he would have wanted to be.
