He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Burroughs and Alice Burroughs (Ricker); and his siblings, Dale Burroughs, Cynthia Burroughs, Adelia Burroughs and Darlene Burroughs.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ruth Thompson; his children, Rick Burroughs (Jamie Krantz), Kerry (Terry White), Peter (Jane Burroughs) and Kendra Burroughs (Rick Kahn); and his siblings, Roland Burroughs, Barbara Thornton, Virginia Fuller, Elizbeth Ackroyd, Deborah White and Valery Massey. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
