He is survived by: his wife Judith Sawyer LaPorte; his son Wayne Donald LaPorte, Jr. (Kate Culverhouse) of Salisbury, MA; his grandchildren, Bryanna MacConnell, Danielle MacConnell of Newport and Kainoa Culverhouse of Middletown, RI; his sister Vivian Brown; his half-sister Margaret Rychesky; and his sister-in-law Joyce LaPorte.
