He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest A Ridgely and Mary Ridgely (Gaither); his brother Robert Ridgely; his parents-in-law, Mabel Kellenbeck (Carolyn), Doris Drew (Beverly) and George Kellenbeck (Carolyn (Kellenbeck) Ridgely); his son Darrell Gatley; and his son-in-law Charles Quackenbush.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his daughters, Brenda Shinn (Jim), Valerie Quackenbush, Sharon Levine and Debbie (Joanes); his grandchildren, Hannah, Julianna (Colin), Alexander, Emily, Justin (Teras), Sonny, Jeremy (Karen), Roman and Madeline; and his great grandchildren, Ophelia, Oona and Russell.
Donations in Ernest's memory may be made to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation, the American Heart Association or St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
