He was predeceased by: his father Everett Ash; his wife Laura Couitt; his mother Helen Whittaker (Johnson); his stepfather Henry Whittaker; and his nephew Brandon Ash.
He is survived by: his son Bryann Couitt (Kassandrah); his brothers, Francis "Sam" Ash, Albert "Tyke" Ash (Nancy), Scott Ash and Kim "Whitey" Ash; and his grandchildren, Isabella, Hannah, Nicolas and Drew Couitt. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
