He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sally; his children, Vicki (Mary), Susan (Tooti), Bill, Doug (Kimmy), Matt (Kim), Mike and Jerome, Jr.; and his parents, Edward O'Mara and Isabel O'Mara. He was also cherished by wife, seven children, 43 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH.
