In the sacred silence of farewell, Mildred is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mildred's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Johnson; her son Christopher Johnson; and her sisters, Katherine Corbett of Lexington, MA and Susan Sarno of Norwood, MA.. She is survived by: her children, Linda Colby (David) of Newton, NH, Amy Sbordone (Alexander) of Newton, MA, Louise Greene (Bruce) of Newton, NH, Peter Johnson (Linda) of South Hampton, NH, James Johnson (Phyllis) of Rockland, MA and Walter Johnson (Brenda) of Raymond, NH. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Douglass Funeral Home (51 Worthen Rd, Lexington, MA 02421). A procession will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Brigid Church (1984 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA 02421).
