He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fredrick Cookson and Violet Cookson; his wife Patricia Howie; his brother Fredrick; his sons, John (Jeannette) of Palm Coast, FL, Douglas (Tracey) of Merrimack, NH, David (Sharon) of Williamsburg, MI and Thomas of Tuftonboro, NH; his sister-in-law Katherine Howie; his grandchildren, Christopher, Rachel, Brian, Sarah DeAngelo, Lansing, Tyler, Dusty and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Henry, Max, Gabrielle, Jimmy, Maryly, Cooper and Reilly.
