With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Murphy of Pelham, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Murphy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis F. Murphy; her parents, Harry "Micky" Ventre, Jr. and Helen Ventre (Davis); and her siblings, Harry Ventre, Edith "DeeDee" Burke, Rosemary Ryan, Pamela Knight and Richard Ventre.
She is survived by: her children, CarolJean Cassidy (Scott) of Somerville, MA, Kim DiPrizio (Dave) of Pelham, NH, Cindy Tyler (Tim) of Billerica, MA, Laura Ahern (Chris) of Wilmington, MA and Dennis "DJ" Murphy (Jennifer) of Tewksbury, MA; her grandchildren, Brittany Cassidy-Leach (Dennis), Bobby Cassidy, Jason Cassidy, Lauren DiPrizio (Travis Whitehouse), Matthew DiPrizio, Samantha Tyler, Jake Tyler, Jessica Ahern, Madison Ahern, Patrick Murphy and Katelyn Murphy; her great grandchild Weston Charles Whitehouse; her sisters, Sandra Maccini of Stoneham, MA and Laura Shea (Richard) of Gloucester, MA; and her pets, JJ and Coco. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pelham Funeral Home (11 Nashua Rd, Pelham, NH 03076). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (12 Main St, Pelham, NH 03076). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Gibson Cemetery.
