He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose L. Sousa and Guilhermina A. Sousa (Goncalves). He is survived by: his wife Maria C. Sousa; his children, Diana P. Mendes (Rogerio) of Lowell and Jose Sousa (Manuela) of Pelham, NH; his granddaughters, Barbara Kulis, Michelle Crowe (John Crowe), Rachel Martins (Jonathan Martins), Nichole Raposo (Helder Raposo), Megan Sousa and Melanie Sousa; his great grandchildren, Jane, Milli, Emilia and Eleanor; and his siblings, Maria L. Cunha of Portugal and Isolino Sousa of Portugal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pelham Funeral Home (11 Nashua Rd, Pelham, NH 03076). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (893 Central St, Lowell, MA 01852). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at the Gibson Cemetery.
