It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Smolko of Pelham, New Hampshire, born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Smolko and Pauline Smolko (Slipetz); and his former wife Joyce Smolko (Janeck). He is survived by: his wife Linda A. Smolko (French); his children, Matthew J. Smolko (Polina) of Maynard, MA, Nicole Smolko-Jaser (Jenna) of Maynard, MA and Kathryn Maietta (Ryan) of Nashua, NH; his grandchildren, Ace, Lainey and Maeve; and his caregivers, Heidi, Krissy, Jacquelyn and Voula.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pelham Funeral Home (11 Nashua Rd, Pelham, NH 03076). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (12 Main St, Pelham, NH 03076). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at the Gibson Cemetery.
