With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Filomena Leal of Pelham, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2026 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband Sargento Jose P. Leal; her parents, Luiza Amaral and Jose Eduardo Rosa; her brother Jose Adriano Rosa; her siblings-in-law, Lucia Rosa and Joaquim Sousa; and her nephew Manuel Eduino Rosa (Maria C.).
She is survived by: her children, Dalila Sequeira (Steven) of Merrimack, NH and Dario Leal (Amy) of Nashua, NH; her grandchildren, Mikayla, Benjamin and Gavin; her brothers, Manuel Rosa of Tewksbury and Antonio Rosa (Olivia) of Faial, Açores; and her sister-in-law Fatima Rosa of Faial, Açores. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
