He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark French and Maude E. French (Richardson); his son Norman M. French, Jr.; his sister Judith Duzgun; and his son-in-law Joseph A. Smolko.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. French (McLaughlin); his children, Donald French (Louisa) of Whitinsville, MA, Sheryl Mara (John) of Pelham, NH and Linda Smolko of Pelham, NH; his sister Lorraine Hadley of Reading, MA; and his stepdaughters, Lisa McLaughlin, Kelly McLaughlin and Karen Griffen. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pelham Funeral Home (11 Nashua Rd, Pelham, NH 03076).
