Edwards; his children, Gregory Edwards (Karen) of Wilson, NC, Latressa Edwards of Lowell, MA, Charles Wiley of Wilson, NC, Daniel Christopher (Roxine) of Londonderry, NH and Louis Christopher of Lowell, MA.; his siblings, David Edwards, Roosevelt Edwards, Clarence Edwards (Lucille), Terry Sharpe, Shirley Cash, Bonnie Woodard, Deliva Anderson, Diane Anderson (Robert), Lucy Speight, Willie Mae Edwards and Margaret Edwards; his siblings-in-law, Thurman Hall (Lela) and Linda Howard (Edwin); and his aunt Eveline Sharpe of Wilson, NC.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
