He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice L. "Tiny" Thyne and Gertrude Thyne (Whittemore); his sister Theresa Goodwin (Thyne); his stepmother Mary Thyne (Jennings); and his daughter Melissa L. Thyne.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy G. Thyne (Titcomb); his children, Sherry Thyne of Tucson, AZ, Alicia Thyne of Derry, NH and Robert L. "RJ" Thyne, Jr. of Cathedral City, CA; his stepdaughters, Melissa G. Montgomery (David Dailey) of Hudson, NH and Amy E. Donovan (William A. "Bill") of Pelham, NH; his grandchildren, Diamond Lakey (Carlie), Dillon Childers (Brooke) and Quinn Thyne; his brothers, John J. "Jack" Thyne (Jack) of Lowell, MA, Leo Thyne, Jr. (Colleen) of Longs, SC and Daniel R. "Danny" Thyne (Linda) of Ossipee, NH; Taylor Montgomery, Kathleen Thyne and Annette Lemieux. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
