In loving memory of Barbara Shorter of Plaistow, New Hampshire, born in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on November 9, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubryn Atchley and Blanche Atchley (Chawziuk); and her brother John Atchley. She is survived by: her children, Ryan L. Shorter (Marykate) of Weston, MA, Jason A. Shorter (Deborah Brackett) of Portsmouth, NH and Jennifer R. Samson (Seth) of Bryn Mawr, PA; her daughter-in-law Johnna Shorter of Portsmouth; her grandchildren, Jack Shorter, Colin Shorter, Cameron Shorter, Max Shorter, Chet Shorter, Isla Samson and Cooper Samson; her siblings, Walter Atchley of Burke, VA, Karen Mitchell of Media and Gail Jackman of Oxford, MD; and the father of her children Ronald Shorter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
