She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hamel and Beatrice Hamel (Basiliere); her husbands, Franklin D. "Nicky" Nicosia and Frederick Vietor; and her son Mark J. Nicosia.
She is survived by: her children, Michael J. Nicosia (Arlene) of Haverhill and Patricia A. "Tricia" Holt (John "Jay") of Plaistow; her grandchildren, Mark J. Nicosia, Jason A. Holt (Nicole Thomas), Eric P. Holt, Tessia Blanchette (Norman) and Bryanna Nicosia; her great grandchildren, Ryan Blanchette and Emily Blanchette; and her sibling's children, William Hamel, Jr., Paula Beatrice and Ann Marie Nicosia.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN.
