The memory of Barbara J. Widen of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Craven and Josephine Craven (Downs). She is survived by: her daughters, Carla Mueller of Wells, ME, Carolyn Widen of Portsmouth and Wendy; and her grandchildren, Stacey (Mark Warren), Gretchen Mueller, Heather (Sean Martin) and Sara (Tom Thomas). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (101 Chapel St, Portsmouth, NH 03801). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. John's Memorial Garden (101 Chapel St, Portsmouth, NH 03801).
