She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Vera Avery and Benjamin Harrison Jones; her former husband Warren Carl Nickerson; and her brothers, William Jones, Benjamin Harrison and Arthur Taylor Jones (Bob Jones).
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Beth Edmonds; her grandchildren, Britt Barquist of Virginia Beach, Lars Barquist and Germany; her husband Andrew Asher; her nieces, Andrea Nickerson, Diane Tingen (Nickerson) of Williamsburg, VA and Harriette Downing (Nickerson) of Queen Creek, AZ.; Edna Freeman (Harman Freeman).
