She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Crane and Geraldine Crane (Kinney); her husband Robert C. Smith; her children, Richard Whalen, Mark Whalen and Natalie Rowan; her stepson Robert C. Smith, Jr.; and her sister June Liberatore.
She is survived by: her children, Bill of Portsmouth and Debra Frank (Duane) of Portsmouth; and her stepdaughters, Maureen Knight (Hal) of Sun City, FL, Helen Moore (Stephen) of Portsmouth, Sharon Wright of Kittery, ME, Cathy Torrey (Ken) of Strafford, Louise Saxby (Jon) of West Ossipee, Carol Merrill (Brian Boston) of North Berwick, ME, Julie Anderson (Mike) of New Durham and Valerie Yule (John) of Milford. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
