He was predeceased by: his parents, James Curtin and Catherine Curtin (Sheehan). He is survived by: his daughter Josephine Curtin; his brother James "Jimmy"; his sister-in-law Leslie Curtin; his brother Kevin Curtin; and his siblings' children, Erinne and Rourke.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, Matching Gifts, 733 Third Avenue Ste. 510, New York, NY 10017.
