He was predeceased by : his parents, Mildred Nelson and Gunnar Nelson; and his sisters, Ingrid Kalcevic and Janet Fox. He is survived by : his children, Katherine Nelson, Lindsay Ciavattone and Melissa Norton; his grandchildren, Benjamin Ciavattone, Natalie and Liam Norton; his former life partner Molly Nelson; and his pet Max. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
