She was predeceased by: her parents, Merton Willis and Pearl Hastings, Sr. (Smith); her brother Merton Hastings, Jr.; and her son Robert Charles Day. She is survived by: her daughter P. Kelly Davies (Robert); her grandchildren, Josiah, Elijah (Emily) and Scarlett; her daughter Lorraine Day; her grandsons, Robert Charles, Jr. and Kevin; her daughter Dr. D. Diane Biron (Robert); her grandchildren, Thomas, Lainy and Ian Tate; her son William Robert Day (Bonnie); and her grandchildren, Micayla Hebert, Henry, Jack and Kearstin Ella. She is also survived by her four children, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In remembrance of Mrs. Day, and in lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests contributions be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital, a reflection of her lifelong dedication to the care and welfare of children.
