She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucien Dumont and Dorothy Dumont (Cossette); her husband James Viel; and her siblings, Michael Pay, Irene Devereau and Martha Grenier.
She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Viel (Gina) of Rochester and Scott Viel (Tina) of Milton; her siblings, Randy Dumont, Larry Dumont, David Dargie, John Pay and Linda Giampietro; her grandchildren, Aimee Shanholtz (Travis), Amber Carrier (Josh), Nicole Viel, Jessica Viel and Jonathan Viel; and her great grandchildren, Makenna Shanholtz and Thea Shanholtz.
