It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Lorraine Johnstone of Rochester, New Hampshire, born in Laconia, New Hampshire, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Avery and Florence Avery (Cross); her husband John Johnstone; her daughter Kate (Dan Nickerson); her grandson John Nickerson (Jen); her brother-in-law Bill Johnstone; her nephew George Wallace; and her son Neal.
Firm believer in charity she knitted 30 or so pair of mittens for Head Start kids in York County for about 20 years.
