She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilfred Huppe and Exelia Huppe (Payeur); her husband Maurice Drapeau; her siblings, Armand Huppe, Rita Johnson, Elliette MacDonald and Jeanette Alimi; and her close friend Simonne Hamann.

She is survived by : her children, Connie Hamann (Norbert) of Rochester, Paul Drapeau of Ontario, CAN, Elaine Goodwin (James) of Rochester and Dennis Drapeau (Rebecca) of Oklahoma; and her siblings, Yvette Burns, Alice Alimi and Robert Huppe. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the MIH program at Frisbie Memorial Hospital or Cornerstone Hospice.
