She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Whitten Jr. and Clara Morang Whitten; her former husband Harold Blackstone; and her siblings, Pam, Eleanor and Owen "Butch".
She is survived by: her husband Worthy Matron; her siblings, Carol, Pauline and Kenneth; and her children, Scott Blackstone, Lori Blackstone and Bruce Blackstone (Kate). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
