Marian Veno Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marian Veno of Rochester, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Patch and Abbie Patch (Smith); her husband Bernard J. Veno; her son Kenneth R; and her siblings, Howard, Everett, Philip, Norman, Clarence, Raymond, Harland, Bernard, Donald, Dorothy Homuth, Arthur, Annie, Laurence and Arnold.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Downes (Kenneth) and Diane Fenderson (Melvin); her grandchildren, Robert Veno (Michelle), Kathie Veno, Jason Veno (Kendra), Joseph Veno, Rebecca Fournier (Pat Robinson), Michael (Michelle Downes), Byrnese Craig (Eli) and Daniel Knapp; her sister-in-law Olney Patch; and her close friend Pat Waskiewicz. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 7 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edgerly and Son Funeral Home (86 S Main St, Rochester, NH 03867). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (34 S Main St, Rochester, NH 03867).
Memorial donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church (Steeple Fund Restoration or Christian Education), Cornerstone VNA Lights of Love, Rochester Emblem Club #40 (literacy program) or the charity of one's choice.
