She was predeceased by: her mother Geraldine I. Lapierre; her husband Richard S Akerman, Sr.; and her sons, Richard S Akerman, Jr. and Wallace M Akerman. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Loree Akerman) and Sharon (Scott Soucy); her grandchildren, Ava Soucy, Erin Akerman, Stacey Partridge and Kathryn Devoe; and her pets, Fenway and Newt. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren.
